Hastang to Appear in Jack TV’s Boom Box!

Mark Your Calendars for the Boom Box Hastang Feature:
March 15, 2008, Saturday, 8:00 p.m.

Hastang will be the featured band in the next episode of Boom Box, a weekly show that features live performances and interviews from the country’s hottest and hippest musical acts! The segment was shot in location at 19 East Bar in Sucat, Parañaque last February. The episode will be airing on March 15, 2008, 8:00 pm on Jack TV. Watch out for that one!

Hastang Album Photo Shoot

Photography extraordinaire Charles Buenconsejo will be doing the photo shoot for Hastang’s upcoming debut album!

It was YanYan and Mark who first discovered Charles’ photos online. Yan sent some feelers, they started talking, and the rest is history.

We’re all so impressed with Charles’ work and we can’t wait to work with him. In fact, Charles (who’s currently based in Manila) made a brief visit to Cebu last February, and we’ve already met with him to discuss possible concepts for the photo shoot!

The discussion of course led to an all-night drinking session that culminated in a 4am meal at Larsyan. We had a great time with Charles, Dave, Ladz, and the extraordinary graphic artist, Niel Quisaba, who’s designing our album packaging (yey!).

Itzamatch’s Perfect Campus Couple Sound Track

Hastang’s single “Random” has been included in the official soundtrack of the Itzamatch Perfect Campus Couple Ultimate Challenge, a local dating show airing regularly on RCTV!

Aside from the track inclusion, Hastang is also named as one of the featured bands of the show.

Parting Shots

Tessa is scheduled to go under the knife for liposuction - er, gall stone bladder sumthin sumthin whatchamacallit surgery - and we’re all praying for her health. Get well soon, Tess. We still need your raw force and sheer power for upoming gigs. Hehehe.
