Hastang of Yesteryears

We’re going back to Manila! We’re flying to Manila on February 14 to 17 for the following gigs:

15 February 2008 - Hastang Night @ Maru Bar, Jupiter St, Makati City
16 February 2008 – Centennial UP Fair @ Sunken Garden, UP Diliman

The last time we went to Manila, we had an unforgettable gig at the now-defunct indie hangout 6 Underground in Makati City. Needless to say, we are very excited to play on these dates, especially at the UP Fair on Saturday. We would like to say a million thanks to Rachelle de Guzman, the marketing committee head of Delta Pi Omicron Sorority, who invited us for this event.

For the uninitiated, UP Fair is like the Woodstock of the Philippines. It is a week-long music fest packed with concerts, shows, fair booths, bazaars and a lot of other gimmicks sponsored by different UP Diliman organizations. This year’s UP Fair is especially significant because it would be the centennial celebration of UP.

These are the bands performing on Saturday night at the UP Fair: Urbandub, The Dawn, Pupil, Slapshock, Kjwan, Queso, Greyhoundz, Chicosci, Itchyworms, Sugarfree, Moonstar 88, Mojofly, Paramita, Hilera, Cambio, Chubibo, Giniling Festival, Datu’s Tribe, The Wudz, The Jerks, Radioactive Sago Project, Aizo, Cathexis, Sunflower Day Camp, Threadstone, Matilda, Ursaminor, Nickty Nasty Kampai, Too Late the Hero, Rippin Monkeys, Musical Orgasm, and many more!
